Thomas Richard Linger Sr.

Thomas proudly served in the Air Force for 23 years. He lived many places; he moved to Mansfield in 1991 and called it home ever since. He enjoyed working on and fixing things, especially cars. He would do whatever he could to help a family member, friend or even a stranger in need. Thomas loved telling stories of all his adventures. He was loved by so many and will be missed dearly.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Jack Linger, Gary Linger, Don Linger and Ray Linger; one grandchild, Thomas Linger III; and one great-grandchild, Oak Lynn Russell.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Linger; siblings, Joe Linger, Jerry Linger; children, Mary Linger, Thomas Linger Jr., Teresa (Widelin) Delantua, Richard Linger, Felicia (Adam) Studer, Sarah Linger and Adam Linger; grandchildren, David Linger, Scott Linger, Tyrone Coles, Andre Coles, Brianna Linger, Ethan Studer, Nathan Mott, Brookelynn Malone, Amiyah Studer and Logan Linger; and great-grandchildren, DJ, Taytome, Jayden, Korbyn, Luke, Andre and Malakai.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at the Wappner Cremation Center, 1327 Ashland Road, Mansfield.
