Thomas “Tank” Edwin Frasher, 69, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. He was born in Mansfield on March 22, 1954 to the late Raymond Frasher and Margaret (Steward) Hedrick.
Tom graduated from Malabar High School in 1972. He had worked at Mansfield Rubber Stamp most of his life. He enjoyed racing and was in the Pit Crew at Mansfield Raceway. Tom had a big heart and would help anyone in need. He enjoyed time spent with his family and friends; he thought the world of his friends and valued them more than anything else. Thomas loved sports and was a fan of the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Tom is survived by his three sisters, Sharon (Jim) Bonham, Carol Shafer Isbell and Sondra (Bruce) Wilging; several nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Murphy the dog.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Shafer; brother-in-law, Gordon Isbell; stepdad, Bill Hedrick; and sister, Jean Gigere.
A gathering and memorial service will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Diamond Hills Baptist Church, 647 South Diamond Street, Mansfield, Ohio 44907.
