Ruth M. Logsdon, 92, resident of Oak Grove Manor died Friday morning, April 20, 2001 at MedCentral Mansfield after an extended illness. Mrs. Logsdon was born May 7, 1908 in Mansfield, Ohio living in the area all of her life with the exception of 10 years in Florida. She had been employed with M & M Insurance and Westinghouse. Mrs. Logsdon was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ since 1922.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Lucille Logsdon of Mansfield; four step grandchildren and their spouses, Linda & Tim Miller and Jenny Stutz, all of Lucas, Steve Logsdon of Mansfield, and Jeff & Debbie Logsdon of Florida; five great-grandchildren; a niece, Karen Luke of Idaho; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester & Elizabeth Walter McQuillen; her husband, James R. Logsdon; a sister, Betty Jackson; a stepson, Thomas Logsdon; and a stepdaughter, Clara Mae Wilbur.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors two hours prior to funeral services to be held Sunday, April 22, 2001 at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by Rev.
