Ruth Crone Lenz, 91, of Ashland, died Tuesday evening, September 5, 2006, at St. Rita's Hospital in Lima following an extended illness. Born September 25, 1914, in Massillon, she was the daughter of Joseph and Hermine Bremkamp Crone. Mrs. Lenz was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Ashland and retired from Defiance General Hospital where she worked as a Registered Nurse.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Robert and Lynne Lenz and Jack and Linda Lenz; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Paul Hamilton Lenz.
Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 23, 2006, at the Lilac House at Leipsic Retirement Center in Leipsic, Ohio. Burial will be in Nova Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. The Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
