Ruth Ann Bauman

Ruth was active at St. Luke Lutheran Church and Linden Road Presbyterian Church. She was a member of Church Women United, Past Secretary of the Mansfield Community Memorial and Patriotic Association, McLaughlin Woman Relief Corps, State and National Woman's Relief Corp., Lady Garfield Daughters of America, Lamplighter NFB, Y Handi Crafters and Helpers, and Salvation Army Blind Class. She worked at Madison Theater, Ohio Theater and Cinema. Ruth was a 1959 graduate of Mansfield Senior High and a graduate of Mansfield Beauty College. She was a beautician and loved doing hair. She was a generous, caring soul who loved helping others and liked doing new things. She volunteered for Habit for Humanity and a third generation RSVP volunteer.

She is survived by two sisters, Marilyn Townsend and Linda Bennett; and many cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Rev. Dallas Waggle will officiate a funeral service on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 1:30 pm at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. She will be laid to rest at Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to Catholic Charities or the donor's choice.
