Boomer formerly worked at Bunting Bearings for 25 years. He enjoyed creating Halloween fantasies at his haunt, “The Trail of Nightmares” for numerous years for his family and community. He was an enthusiast for all things fantastical, spooky, creepy or mystifying. Boomer was also a great friend to many and an exemplary family man.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Pool; children, Brett (Haley) Pool, Billiejean Pool, Emily Martin, and Timothy Martin; grandson, Archer Pool; siblings, Virginia Knipp-Butts and Bo (Dusty) Little; nephews and nieces, Joshua Butts, Dominick Burton, Quintin Little, and Mariah Little.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents, Lawrence and Frances Knipp.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.
