Born April 6, 1951 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Frank T. Fava and Rosa (Aquino) Partin. She was a graduate of St. Peter’s Catholic School and had worked at Aultman Hospital in Canton and MedCentral as a phlebotomist. She enjoyed singing, going to the theater, playing cards, cooking and anything having to do with Camelot but she mostly enjoyed being with her family.
She is survived by her mother, Rosa Partin; a son, Joseph B. Yates of London, OH; two daughters, Tina M. Fliger and Jiovanina M. (James) Kash both of Mansfield; grandchildren, Catherine, Jasmine, Logan and James; a great grandson, Ethan; four brothers, Tony Fava, Timmy (Newtz) Cooper, Frank (Charleen) Fava and Dino (Pam) Fava all of Mansfield; two sisters, Anna (Jay) Horner and Linda Daugherty both of Mansfield; three step brothers, Roger Partin, David Partin and Billy Partin all of Mansfield; her former husband, Clarence Yates; a special friend, Laurie (Lucy) Jordan; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank T. Fava; her step mother, Mary Fava; her step father, Billy B. Partin; two infant grandchildren, Dale Allen and Rebecca Marie; her grandparents, Marie and John Aquino; her maternal grandmother, Rosa Hessland; her paternal grandmother, Maria Montova; two step brothers, Larry Partin and Michael Partin; and a step sister, Gail Vanriper.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2012 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the funeral home conducted by Minister David Kindig. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
