Born in 1948 in Huntington West Virginia, Rosalie received her degree in cosmetology and went on to have a career in retail management. She had an eye for stylish clothing and fine jewelry. She spent many years volunteering in the public school system, the PTA, and as team mom in many of her children’s sports.
Rosalie is survived by her three children, James Saunders, Melissa Saunders, and William (BJ) Brown, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Brown and son Michael Brown.
Rosalie loved good food, parfaits, and diet coke. She enjoyed watching sports with her boys and rooted for the Dallas Cowboys.
She was a caring mother and put her children first. When they were young she toted them around to sporting events, extra curricular activities, boy scouts, and other outdoor activates. She made sure her kids had an adventures life as they explored the amusement parks and enjoyed the many events Florida had to offer.
She was supportive of her grandchildren and always had an open door for them.
Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the hearts of many. Her signature gift of joy, shown through her constant smiling, laughter, and playing around will never be forgotten.
She was as precious as they come and was nothing but sweetness. Rosalie was an amazing woman and brought comfort to all who had the honor to be in her company. She was the life of the party. There will be a void in this world without her. Thanks to Jesus, she was saved and we will all rejoice with her in Heaven when we meet again.
