Ronald L. Crisp, 58, of Lucas, died suddenly early Wednesday morning, June 27, 2001, at Med Central Mansfield Hospital. Mr. Crisp was born June 30, 1942 in Newark, Ohio, to Walter and Mable Johnson Crisp. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an avid Dale Earnhardt and NASCAR fan.
Survivors include his loving wife of 19 years, Wanda Darrow Crisp; three daughters, Rebecca A. Lantz of Mansfield, Susan R. Slarb of Ashland, Marsha L. Martin of Lucas; three sons, Brian R. Martin of Mansfield, Shane G. Crisp and Ronald T. Crisp, both of Newark; eight grandchildren, Ashley M. Leadingham, Chelsie A. Lantz, Bradley M. Baker, Kellie A. Watkins, Alyssa R. Slarb, Austin R. Slarb, Nicholas A. Baker and Kyle E. Watkins.
Friends may call Friday, June 29 from 6-9 p.m. at Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 30 at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. conducted by Pastor Mary DeLoach. Military graveside services will be held at Lantz Cemetery.
