Robert Ison

Robert M. Ison, 63, of Mansfield died Thursday evening, February 6, 2003 at his home after an extended illness. Mr. Ison was born March 16, 1939 in Fultz, Kentucky to Russell and Ada Marie Ison. He retired from Corpad. Robert loved to fish.

He is survived by his mother, Ada Marie Bush of Ashland, Ohio; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Angie and Robert Hickok of Mt. Gilead, Ohio, Tammy and Richard Ginn of Kentucky; and Julia White of Kentucky; his companion and best friend of 16 years, Emma Holloman; six grandchildren; and four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Carolyn and George Stamper of Mansfield, Hattie and James Paul Wilburn and Clotine and Jim Parsons, all of Kentucky, and Betty Fleiger of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Ison and brother, Milton Ison.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Sunday, February 9 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Monday at 1:00 p.m., conducted by Marion Lawhorn and Clayton Lawhorn. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
