Robert Lewis Dill

Robert Lewis Dill, 93, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. Born on February 15, 1929 in Lexington, Ohio, he was one of 12 children born to Albert and Sarah (Schiedler) Dill.

Robert proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Empire Detroit after working many years as a nurse in the dispensary. Robert enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and baseball. He also enjoyed bowling and woodworking. He loved time spent with family and friends, but also found a joy in raising many dogs.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Carol (Sprague) Dill; daughter, Becky Jensen-Kendall; brother, David (Delores) Dill; grandson, Todd (Angel) Logan; and many other cherished family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 10 siblings, Mary Margaret Gerrell, Dorothy (Tom) Clements, Phil (Mary) Dill, Richard (JoAnn) Dill, Jim (Fannie) Dill, Herb (Carol) Dill, Kenny (Janet) Dill, Liz (David) Jacobs, Ruth Dill and Janet Dill; and grandson, Jeffrey Logan.

There will be no services at this time. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.
