Richard T. Lucas, 71, of Bucyrus, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Altercare of Bucyrus. Born November 25, 1949 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Ray T. and Mina J. (Foster) Lucas.
Richard graduated from Trafford High School in 1967 and retired from Pittsburgh Brass Manufacturing where he worked as a machine operator. A devout Christian, he was a great person and a great father who loved his family very deeply. Richard was a classic movie buff and enjoyed playing Sudoku and reading the Bible.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart, Judy (Cairns) Lucas whom he married June 12, 1971; his son, Rick Lucas of Caledonia; and his sister, Carolyn (Rae) Martino of Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Caledonia Church of Christ.
