
Ralph Eugene Thomas, 63 of 1640 Windsor Rd. died Friday December 1, 2000 at home following a brief illness. Mr. Thomas was born February 11, 1937 in Marietta, Ohio residing in the Mansfield area most of his life. He was retired as a self employed pump repairman and was previously employed with Peabody Barnes and Mansfield Tire and Rubber. He attended Woodville Grace Brethren Church, Ashland Bow Hunters Club, and Gold Wing Road Riders Association. Ralph was a loving husband father and grandfather, and went to be with the Lord.
Surviving are his wife, Jeanne Temple Thomas of Mansfield; two daughters and one son-in-law, Kelly Johnson; Kim and Terry Laubacher of Delaware, Ohio; one step son and step-daughter-in-law, Cary and Kathy Henry of Coudersport, Pennsylvania; one step daughter and step-son-law, Kelley and Brian Kyer of Shiloh, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Nikki Fitzpatrick; Sean and Corey Johnson; Lauren and Lindsey Laubacher; Greg, Jeff and Abbey Henry; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Den Armstrong of Mansfield and Trudy and Gary Huss of Mansfield; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold A. and Goldie M. Thomas; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Bill Hess.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Sunday December 3, 2000 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday December 4, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Steve Kern. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Woodville Grace Brethren Church at 580 Woodville Rd. Mansfield, Ohio 44907.
