
Phillip A. Hilderbrand, 53, of Shelby, died unexpectedly Saturday evening April 9, 2005 at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital. Born December 19, 1951 in Olive Hill, Kentucky, he was the son of James McKinley and Martha Workman Hilderbrand. He lived in Shelby for the past 9 years. A kind caring man, he came to Ohio to help take care of his family.
He is survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law, Jay and Helen Hilderbrand of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Gordon and Helen Hilderbrand of Ashland, and Sean and Janet James of Olive Hill, Kentucky; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce Hardwick of Mansfield, Freda and Harold Fisher of Mansfield, Shirley Hilderbrand of Shelby, and Linda and Don Enyhart of Louisville, Kentucky; numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; special niece Angie Hilderbrand of Shelby; and honorary grandchildren, Kyle and Jarred, both of Shelby. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Phyllis James.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday April 12, 2005 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday April 13 at the funeral home with Pastor Herman King officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
