Pearl A. Foust, 77, of Mansfield, passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 30, 2017, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was born November 24, 1939, in Utica, Ohio, to the late Elmus Emmet "Pete" and Edna Elenora (White) Taylor.
Pearl was a Mansfield area resident most of her life. She was an ordained minister and was devoted to her calling of serving others. She dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who kept her very busy. Pearl was an extremely hard working woman and didn't retire until the age of 76, but never retired from being the true caregiver of her family. Adventures with them included gem hunting, fishing and horseback riding.
Pearl is survived by two sons, Fred (Susie) Grant and Matt Grant; four grandchildren, Andrew Greving, Richard Williamson II, Fred Grant Jr. and Zack Grant; and seven beloved great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Cedric Grant Jr. and Butch Taylor.
A graveside service will be held Friday, June 9, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. in Mansfield Cemetery with Rev. Rick Wiseman officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the funeral home to the family. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family.
