Paul E. Ludwig, 72, of Mansfield, died Thursday, December 8, 2016 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. Born April 9, 1944 in Mansfield, he was the son of Paul N. and Virginia I. (Rader) Ludwig.
He graduated from Madison High School and was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1965 to 1971. He retired from TRW Automotive in Mt. Vernon. A sweet, generous man, Paul enjoyed yardwork and was always willing to help his neighbors, friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Hancock of Mansfield; a step son, Thomas Ludwig of Mansfield; a sister, Shirley Ruhl of Lexington; a brother, Anthony J. (Yoshee) Ludwig of Mansfield; a host of aunts and uncles; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step son, Ricky Lee Hancock.
