Patricia Evelyn Hylton Watts, 66, of Crestline died August 4, 2008 at her home. She went to her eternal home in Heaven. God took her home, it was His will, and our loss is Heaven's gain. Her compassionate and caring personality will be missed by everyone whose lives she touched. Patricia was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend to many people. Born August 26, 1941 in Ashland, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Morris Sr. and Cuba Breeding Hylton. Patricia's employment over the years included Home Interiors, Wilson's Leather, Casual Corner, and Curves.
Patricia is survived by her high school sweetheart and soul mate, Tommy Watts. They were married for 46 wonderful years and moved from Kentucky to Crestline in 1961. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two daughters and their spouses, Angela Edward DeMoss of Aylett, Virginia, Sarah Chester Durfee of Dayton; mother, Cuba Hylton; and siblings, Reva Robert Watts, Sue Ollie Watts, Sharon Russell McIntosh, Yvonne Doug Bentley, Morris Jr. Marsha Hylton, all of Kentucky, and William Betty Hylton of Tennessee. She leaves behind eight nieces and three nephews; mother-in-law, Charity Watts; and brother-in-law, Scott Watts of Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Pridemore; father, Morris Hylton, Sr.; and father-in-law, Jennings Watts.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Fred Bleck and Patricia's brother-in-law, Ollie Watts. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers it was Patricia's last request and her family's wish to send memorial contributions to Ovarian Cancer Research in memory of Patricia Watts so they can develop preventative screening tests to help diagnose this silent disease in the early stages and develop more treatment options.
