Patricia Lykins

Patricia Ann Lykins, 69, of Mansfield, died Sunday morning, December 14, 2008, at the Cleveland Clinic. Born September 24, 1939, in Vanceburg, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Maurice Cooper and Loraine H. Moore. An area homemaker her entire life, she was a member of Mansfield Baptist Temple. Patricia was very devoted to her family, an excellent cook and loved cooking for her family.

She is survived by her husband, Kendall Lykins; son, Steven Kim Lykins of Macedonia, OH; daughter, Sherry Tracy Gerhart of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Erica Jacob Stabl of Avon and Lauren Gerhart of Mansfield; two half-brothers, James Debbie Cooper and Kevin Kathy Cooper; four half-sisters, Karen Squires, Elizabeth David Lykins, Terri Jim Wyatt and Sandra Gleich; stepmother, Ruth Cooper of Vanceburg, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2008, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., Mansfield. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Dr. Dale V. Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
