Pat was a very active member of Cornerstone Free Will Baptist Church, where she had taught several classes. A living example of God's love for others, she was generous and willing to give everything she had to help someone out. Her compassionate, strong nature made her a natural leader and someone who could be counted on to give good advice. Pat loved God, her church, and her family with a special place in her heart for her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and canning. She was a talented woman who enjoyed crocheting and even taught classes on it. She had a flair for decorating and owned an antique store for a period of time. Christmas was Pat's most favorite time of year.
She is survived by two daughters, Debra (Rick) Deems and Jeanette (Mike) McCorkle; five grandchildren, Melanie (Joe) Stilson, Mike (Ashley) McCorkle, Matthew (Marisa) McCorkle, Nick Marsh and Lexie (Mason) Galco; three step grandchildren, Emily (Justin) Dodson, Nick Deems and Tim Deems; six great-grandchildren, Ava Galco, Briar McCorkle, Malachi Stilson, Audrey McCorkle, Chloe Galco and Edi Stilson; two step great-grandchildren, Stella Dodson and Margot Dodson; four siblings, Peggy Bowen, David (Darlis) Horn, Judy Lemaster and John (Donna) Horn; and many nieces and nephews.
