Pamela K. Meade

Pamela K. Meade, 52, of Mansfield, passed away Sunday evening, December 20, 2015, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was born December 20, 1963, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Carl E. Bowman and Katherine A. Wade Bowman.

Pam graduated in 1982 from Mansfield Senior High School. She was a beautiful and wonderful woman who was an amazing homemaker. Everyone felt welcome in her presence and she took great pride in caring for her family and home. Her flower garden showed the tender loving care she gave to everything she touched. She was the best wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend anyone could ever have. She was a strong woman who some may refer to as a spit-fire but had a heart of gold. On July 19, 1982, she married Ivan B. Meade and they shared 33 wonderful years together.

In addition to her husband, Ivan, she is survived by two children, Krystal (John) Boyle and Michael Meade; three grandchildren, John, Trinity and Justin Boyle; siblings, Tina Goldsmith and Carl (Karrie) Bowman; two aunts, Margaret Robinette and Theresa (Donald) Owens; and seven nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. with additional visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
