Oscar Blevins, 89, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Monday, October 11, 2016. He was born June 7, 1927 to Elisha and Emma (Fite) Blevins in Portsmouth, Ohio.
In 1952 Oscar moved to Mansfield to work at Dominion Electric then he went on to work at Montgomery Ward until his retirement. Oscar was a huge fan of NASCAR, he liked watching dirt track racing especially when his sons raced.
Oscar is survived by his son, Norman Blevins of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Donald (Tonja) Blevins, Paula Cline, Kelly (Kim) Blevins, and Robbie Blevins; seven great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; his brother, David (Julia) Blevins; and his sister Irene Nelson.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Roscoe Blevins; his three sisters, Charlotte Parker, Loretta Evans, and Catherine Goins; and his first wife Helen (McGraw) Blevins whom passed away in 1999.
