Mary T. Toth, 80, formerly of Syracuse, New York died Tuesday, February 29, 2000 at Woodlawn Nursing Home. Mrs. Toth was born November 12, 1919 in Syracuse, New York where she lived most of her life with her husband, Alexander, before moving to Mansfield in 1988. She was former co-owner, with her husband, of the Three Hour Laundry and Dry Cleaners in Syracuse, New York, a member of the Syracuse Apostolic Christian Church, and attended the Ontario Christian Fellowship in Ontario, Ohio.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Suzanne & Dr. Larry Zimmerman of Mansfield and Lynda & John Evans of Syracuse, New York; three grandchildren and their spouses, Dr. Brian & Heidi Zimmerman of Mansfield, Holly & Anthony Simpson of Kyle, Texas, and Jennifer Zimmerman of Cincinnati; and one great grandson, Samuel Joseph Zimmerman of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander B. Toth in 1995; her parents, Felix & Alexandria Kowalczk Popkowski; five brothers, Stanley, Chester, Roman, John, and Alexander Popkowski, all of Syracuse; three sisters, Regina Reschke, Bertha Grala and her twin sister, Jane Biront, all of Syracuse.
Friends may call at the Butler-Badman Funeral Home, 4504 West Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse, New York Friday, March 3, 2000 from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Saturday, March 4, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. at the Butler-Badman Funeral Home. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, Dewitt, New York. Wappner Funeral Directors is assisting the family with arrangements.
