Mary Anne was born October, 7th 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio and was the daughter of Edmund and Henrietta Boesken(née Jabs). She spent the first half of her life in Cleveland, later settling in Lorain County.
She loved to spend time with her family and showering her grandchildren with gifts and sweets. She enjoyed attending events and gatherings that included a good cake, as she was quite the cake connoisseur. Nothing gave her a better laugh than recollecting and quoting her favorite movies and incorporating them into everyday life with her special brand of “Mary humor”.
Mary deeply enjoyed traveling, especially to England. She was particularly fond of London and all of its many landmarks, including Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and St. Paul’s Cathedral, to name a few. She also enjoyed smaller trips close to home that included Niagara Falls, Florida and little day trips out to Amish country, Pymatuning and Conneaut Lake, PA. She was always happy just to be out bumming around, exploring places both new and old and spending time with her husband of nearly 50 years...shopping along the way, collecting all kinds of souvenirs and amassing many pictures and wonderful memories.
She was crafty in her own right and had quite an artistic flair for coloring and painting. She also liked tending to flowers in and around the house, collecting knick-knacks, dolls and anything else that enhanced the beauty of her home.
She is survived by her husband, Eric Norwood; her children, Matthew (Melissa) Norwood, Tiffany (Jason) Bishop, and Courtney (Matthew) Adkins; her grandchildren, Lila Norwood, Liam, Shane and McKenna Bishop and Timothy Adkins; her sister, Susie (Andy) Sebok; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a stillborn sister.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 31, 2022 at Our Lady Queen of Peace.
