Marvin J. 'Mick' Hinz, 87, of Mansfield, died Saturday evening July 16, 2005, at Mansfield Memorial Homes. Born November 19, 1917, in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of Edward and Martha Olschewski Hinz. Marvin retired from White-Westinghouse, was a member of First Alliance Church and enjoyed fishing, bowling, woodworking, and mowing the lawn.He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Clifford and Beth Hinz of Mansfield; and thirteen nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, June Sergent Hinz in 1942; his second wife, Mabel Reichert Hinz in 2003; his parents; two sisters, Irma Mora and Edna Hinz; and three brothers, Herbert, Edward, and Kenneth Hinz.The family wishes to thank George and Susan Zeigler, and Joanie and Bob Mitchell, plus all of Mick's neighbors for all of their caring attention.Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors one hour prior to funeral services, which will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, conducted by Rev. James C. Cheatham. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
