Martha Jane Dye, 92, of Mansfield, died Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Morrow Manor Nursing Center. Born September 14, 1918 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Earl and Emma Klippel Dye. Martha worked for many years at the Tappan Stove Company. From there she worked at the Mansfield Tire and Rubber Company until they closed. Martha was a member of First English Lutheran Church of Mansfield.
She is survived by her sister, Naomi Burden of Galion; special niece, Roberta Tim Miller and their children, Elisabeth and Ryan Miller of Columbus; nephew, Richard Dee Dee Anderson of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Ruth Berkej, Miriam Heiser and Earlene Anderson.
There will be no services or calling hours held. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to First English Lutheran Church, 53 Park Avenue West, Mansfield, OH 44902. Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Martha Jane Dye.
