Marion Adeline “Addie” Crawford, age 92, of Mansfield, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024, at her home. She was born April 4, 1931, in Boone County, West Virginia, to the late Edgar and India (Tate) Mackey.
Addie attended First Church of God in Gibsonton, Florida, for many years. During her lifetime, she enjoyed attending horse races, making and selling ceramics and bowling. She was a member of a local bowling league for several years. Addie was the manager of the first KFC in Richland County and her customers knew her as the “Queen of KFC”. She loved her family deeply and dearly missed her husband, Raymond, when he passed away. They are now reunited—walking hand in hand and enjoying each other’s company.
She is survived by three children, Brenda Thomas, Sandee (Danny) Pritchard and Mary (Albert) Ousley; five grandchildren, Heather Thomas (Anthony Sams), Michael Thomas, Taya (Matt) Parks, Ashley (Travis) Edwards and Albert (Laura) Ousley; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; three siblings, John (Thelma) Parker, Edgar (Fran) Mackey and Lois (Paul) Harrington; and many beloved nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Taylor.
There will be no service or visitation observed. Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services by Wappner is honored to serve the family.
