Lydia Frank, 82, of Mansfield, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021, at her home. She was born in Munich, Germany, on August 18, 1938.
She was a member of the Mansfield Liederkranz where she enjoyed dancing. Lydia loved gardening and flowers and was an excellent cook. She had a soft spot in her heart for children and animals. Traveling was a passion for her and she especially enjoyed Amish country and Florida.
Lydia is survived by her significant other of 20 years, Hans Reich; three daughters, Linda (Brad) Sweval, Karolyne (John) Buffington and Annette Smith; four grandchildren, Talisa Schendel, Travis Groscost, Ashley Smith and Croix Sweval; and two great-grandchildren, Teya Schendel and Tauren Lindsay. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Brandner.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, in Mansfield Cemetery. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.
