Loretta was born on February 2, 1962 in Mansfield, Ohio. She was the daughter of Kelsey and Milliant “Jean” Rose. A fighter, Loretta never allowed her struggles in life to bring her down. She embraced every day with a smile on her face and an encouraging word to others. Loretta was a friend to everyone; she never met a stranger. Loretta was a proud mother of 6 children whom she loved immensely. Her family was her everything, and she captured every memory she could with them as her life was centered around her family. She was an avid dirt track racing fan. Loretta was a member of Belmont Community Church. Every chance she got she would take a trip to Kroger for her next family meal as she loved cooking for her family.
Loretta is survived by her children, Lanetta (Jason), Rickey, Casey (Michael), Brad, Kyle (Amber), and Tosha (Kenny); her grandchildren, Kalie (Bobby), Michael (Cassie), Alicia, Alexus, Isaiah, Braxton, McKenzi, Hudson, Braylen, Bentley, and Lauerli; her great-grandchildren, Landan, Gracee, Grayson, Journee, Jaxson, Alaina, and Ashton; her brothers, Kenny (Kathleen) and Brian (Melissa); her nieces, Stacey, Amber, and Emmy; her brother-in-law, Johnny; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles; and her special friend, Anita.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rick Moore; her sister, Frieda Shade; and her father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Helen Moore.
Family and friends may visit from 5:00-7:00 pm on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield, 98 S. Diamond St. Pastor Hank Webb will officiate her funeral service on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Loretta will be laid to rest at Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
