Linda Horning

Born June 5, 1947, in Shelby, Ohio, Linda was a loving mother to seven children, a member of St. Peters Catholic Church and owner/stylist at Reflections Hair Designs in Mansfield. She gave the world beauty, kindness and a warm sense of humor. Moreover, she faithfully stood by her loved ones during life's many victories and challenges.

Always full of energy, Linda enjoyed jazzercise, her Tuesday night card club, and boating with friends on the shores of Lake Erie. She cherished spending time with family and was extremely thankful for the many special relationships she developed with her employees and clients. She accomplished numerous goals throughout her life but was most proud of being a loyal wife and dedicated mother.

Linda's father, George Robertson, preceded her in death. She will be greatly missed by her mother Hazel Robertson of Shelby; her husband of 28 years, Richard; daughter Amy Stuart Epperson of Columbus; sons Tom Kyra Forrest of Cleveland and Bryan Forrest of Akron; sisters Karen Robertson of Maryland and Sue Dave Winans of Shelby; step-sons Dave Colene Horning of Mansfield, Richard Jennifer, and Douglas Tina Horning of Rhode Island; step-daughter Dawn Richard Proia of Rhode Island; grandchildren Amber and David Horning of Mansfield, Douglas Jr. and Gina Horning of Rhode Island; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 South Lexington-Springmill Rd., Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Vigil services will be held at 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peters Catholic Church Thursday at 2:00 p.m. conducted by the church. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Shelby immediately following the funeral service.
