Linda Buchanan

Linda Lee Buchanan, age 75, of Mansfield, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 following a lengthy illness. Linda was born March 11, 1940 in Kenton, Ohio, to Harold and Marcina Kennedy. She married the love of her life, Max Buchanan, on August 18, 1957, and together they spent 50 wonderful years until he passed away on April 1, 2008.

Linda retired from Madison High School cafeteria where she enjoyed serving all the children, including her own granddaughters.

Linda is survived by her children, Dawn (Junior) Chinn and Cheryl Buchanan, both of Mansfield, Kevin (Cheryl) Buchanan of Perrysville, and Teresa Buchanan (Dan Smith) of Ashland; four grandchildren, Nicole Chinn and Kelli Chinn (Larue Smith), Blake Buchanan and Brittany Sweeney; three great-grandsons, Kyle Jackson, Kenton Smith and Nicholas Buchanan; brothers, Robert and Donald Kennedy; sisters, Audrey Anspach and Kathie (Richard) Hack; and her loving dog and companion, Princess.

Although no public service will be held, her family hopes you will hold her in your hearts as you remember her in your own special way.

The family would like to thank Jeannie and the staff at Hospice of North Central Ohio; and the Hospice House in Ashland for the wonderful care they provided for Linda. A special thanks to Linda Cochran, her neighbor, for everything she did.
