Kathleen Mary Wolfgang, 82, of Mansfield, passed away at OhioHealth Mansfield on Friday, July 29, 2022.
Kathleen was born on September 25, 1939 in County Mayo, Ireland. She emigrated with her family at the age of 8 from Ireland. She was the daughter of John and Mary O’Connor. Kathleen worked as a department head at TJ Maxx. She attended St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Most of all, Kathleen loved being a mother and grandmother. One of her favorite things to do was play card games with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Neal Wolfgang; her grandchildren, Christian Wolfgang, Justin “JT” Wolfgang, Zach Tormaschy, and Cat Morgan; her great-grandchildren, Aspyn and Oakley; and her niece and nephew, Larry Matthes and Jan Wemyss. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Neal Wolfgang; her son, Eric Wolfgang; and her siblings, John O’Connor, Thomas O’Connor, and Anne Matthes.
There will be no public services observed. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the Wolfgang family.
