Johnny worked as a support specialist for children at Foundations for Living. He also owned and operated an auto detailing business, Two Hearts Detailing. He was a member of New Beginning Full Gospel Baptist Church where he ordained as a deacon. He loved music and singing and was a member of the Men’s Chorus at church.
He is survived by his wife, Belinda Marshall Morgan whom he married on January 18, 1992; mother, Emma Gertrude Clark; aunt, Annie Lester; ten children, Nicole Marshall, Latasha N. Morgan, Rochsand (Bobby) Watkins, Johnny R. Morgan Jr., Anthony White, Quinten Currie, Andrew Cotton, Delbert Benge, Jameelah France and Tamara Rollison; a brother, Edmund Gerald Morgan; a sister, Valencia Ward; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Lee Morgan.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Providence Baptist Church, 112 W. 6th St., Mansfield. The funeral service conducted by Pastor Patricia Sullivan will follow at 11:00 a.m. He will be laid to rest in Mansfield Cemetery.
