Jean B. McCullough, 91, of Mansfield, passed Monday, November 23, 2020, at The Summit Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lehighton, Pennsylvania. She was born November 30, 1928, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late Garland and Kathryn (Burrer) Bennett.
She retired from Hartman Electric where she worked for many years and then worked at Sam's Club. Jean was a member of Breath of Life Church. Blessed with an artistic talent and spirit, she enjoyed painting and sewing.
Jean is survived by two daughters, Patti (Terry) Winters of Lehighton, PA, and Starla (Gary) Scholler of Bellville; four grandchildren, Tanita (Timothy) Stephens, Brianna Perkins, Joshua Fugate and Danielle Fugate; five great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Davis, Cody Davis, Mason Davis, Margo Fugate and Penny Fugate; three siblings, Lloyd (Phyllis) Bennett, David (Sherry) Bennett and Barbara Scott; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Merle McCullough Jr.; and sister, Janice Tinkham.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2020, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Mansfield Cemetery. To keep everyone safe, visitors to the funeral home are asked to wear a mask and observe social distancing guidelines. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
