Along with her husband, she was co-owner of Bostic Plumbing and RD Trailers.
She loved meeting new people and had a way of making anyone feel special and touching their hearts. Diane was an avid reader and singer and loved walking through the woods as her happiest days were living on a farm. She loved singing karaoke with her husband. Diane always had a twinkle in her eye and loved spending time with her grandchildren ~ giving all the wisdom she could to them which they hold dear to their hearts.
Diane was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and was a former member of First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, worked in the church office and volunteered for the Sunshine Girls. She also volunteered for the Ashland Pregnancy Center, the Alzheimer's Center, Dale Roy School and Hospice.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ron; her son, Ken (Deborah) Bostic; her daughters, Kim (Andy) Hines and Debra (Rich) Howell all of Ashland; her grandchildren, Josh, Autumn, Morgan, Christina, Megan, BreAnna and Bryan; her great grandchildren, Reyelle, Thatcher, Chastin, Quaid, Bryson and Parker; two brothers and a sister-in-law, David (Danny) Martin of Lexington and Larry Martin of Utah; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John "Bud" Martin, Jr. and three sisters, Shirley Penry, Margie Barnes and Marilyn Love.
Friends may call from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2019 at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Avenue, Ashland. A private graveside service will be held at Mansfield Memorial Park for the family conducted by Pastor Austin Rissler.
