Helen was born November 17, 1936, in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, to Katherine (Neider) and Peter Bosiokovic. In 1952, she immigrated to the United States, embracing a new life full of opportunity, love, and faith.
She spent many years working at Buckeye Bakery and later at Therm-O-Disc, always known for her strong work ethic and kind spirit. In April 1957, she married, Ambrose “Bruce” Lahm. Together, they shared a beautiful life, including cherished winters in Florida and deep ties with their church community.
Helen was a devoted member of Apostolic Christian Church on Middle Bellville Road. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and she found great joy in fellowship with her church family.
She will be remembered as a warm-hearted hostess and an exceptional cook. Her home was always open, filled with love, laughter, and the comforting aroma of home-cooked meals. She will warmly be remembered as Omi by her grandchildren who she loved dearly.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Diana (Randy) Riggleman; son, Robert Lahm; grandchildren, Alexis Lahm, Stephen (Kassia) Lahm, and Ryan (Sierra) Riggleman; great-grandchildren, Violet, and Forrest; and her brother, Emil Bosiokovic.
