Doris Ann Parsons, 72, of Mansfield, died Friday, July 8, 2011 at Hospice House in Ashland. Born January 5, 1939 in Fort Gay, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Bill and Norma Burke Chaffin. A homemaker, Doris enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Pam Ynez Aguilar of Mansfield; a son, Allen Ronna Parsons of Tennessee; three grandchildren, Shannon Aaron Johnson of Mansfield, Theresa Vollmer of Mansfield and Becky Stepp of Tennessee; eight great grandchildren, Cheyanne, Khyra, Amyia, Alley, Quammar, Tyrell, Tucker and Payton; a sister, Otalee Boggs of Florida; a brother, Doug Chaffin of Port Clinton, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Parsons; and two brothers, Don and Ray Chaffin.
Private services for the family will be held in Mansfield Cemetery. Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Doris Ann Parsons.
