Dad was a proud U.S. Army veteran. He retired from AK Steel after working 30 years in maintenance. Don loved his garden and his beloved dog, Millie. He always had a smile and a funny story to go with it.
Don is survived by his children, Delsey Stover of Plant City, Florida, Kelli (William) Noble and Donald (Kelly) Stover Jr. both of Mansfield; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Sam Stover and Corrine (Sam) Lampert; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Diana K. Stover; grandson, Billy Noble Jr.; sister-in-law, Connie Stover; and siblings, Paul (Lena) Stover and Eunice (Larry) Dinniger.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Oak Grove Memorial Park and officiated by son-in-law, William Noble. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.
