Dominic Servedio, 59, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at Ball Memorial Hospital, IU Health in Muncie, Indiana. Dominic was born on February 17, 1958, in Jersey City, New Jersey to Vincent and Concetta Servedio.
Dominic was a sports fanatic. He loved NASCAR, New York Giants, Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was a family man, always helping someone who needed assistance. Dominic was an all around good person. He was a truck driver and worked for MTD until he became disabled.
Dominic is survived by his wife, Jerrie Ann Servedio; mother, Concetta Servedio of NJ; god mother, Antoinette Ribauldo of NJ; two children, Joseph and Christina Servedio, both of FL; three step children, Brandi Gipson and Anthony Whicker, both of Mansfield and Jack Whicker of WV; two brothers, Vincent (Melissa) Servedio and Michael Servedio, both of NJ; fourteen grandchildren, Danny Jr., Brittany, Kaylee, Kylee, Anthony Jr., Christian, William Jr., Kendra, Kierstynn, Caleb, Aubree, Destiny, Landon and Nolan, all of Mansfield. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Judy McReynolds of IN; father-in-law, Arnold Hedge of KY; two sisters-in-law, Debra Baumert, Melissa (Terry) Miller, both of IN; three brothers-in-law, Jeff Hedge of KY, Greg (Melissa) Hedge of Mansfield and Richard Hedge of KY; several nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Dominic is preceded in death by his father, Vincent Servedio; god father, Antony Kowolski; grandparents; and his son, Randall Whicker.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2017, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. The funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Adam Hedge officiating. He will be laid to rest in Springmill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
