Dolores E. Shambre, 91, passed away at the Waterford on Sunday, September 29, 2024.

Dolores was born May 5, 1933 in Dayton, Ohio to Leonard and Velma Gresham Hurley. Dolores enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Traveling, knitting, and reading were some of her favorite past times.

Dolores is survived by Mike (Margaret) Shambre of Ashland, OH, Kim Bursley of Fredericktown, OH, and Sherri (Tim) Middleton of Greenville, SC; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Frank Shambre; and nephew, Eric (Judy) Snyder. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert D. Shambre; son-in-law, Leonard Bursley; and brother, Melvin Hurley.

Private family graveside services will be held at Oak Grove Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Madison Lions Club, 2148 Bowen Road, Mansfield, OH 44903.
