Doliver graduated from Sharples High School in 1955. He served in U.S. Army Reserves from 1957-1962. Doliver was a 66-year member of Local #1216 since 1955 and worked construction for ten years. He then went on to serve as Secretary/Treasurer of the local union until his retirement in April 1995. Doliver enjoyed biking, golf, attending car races and making pens.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 64 years, Ramona J. Hamilton Napier; two sons, Keith (Patricia) Napier and Randall (Debra) Napier; one daughter, Rhonda (Rodney) Watson; one granddaughter, Laura Napier; five grandsons, Richard (Sarah) Napier, Brett (Lacey) Watson, Andrew (Kelly) Napier, Michael Napier and Benjamin Napier; three great-grandsons, Bryden, Colin and Ethan Napier; three great-granddaughters, Ananda Jani, Lillian Napier and Blakley Watson; and two brothers, Donald and Samuel Napier.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Forrest (Betty) Perry, Carl (Christine) Perry, George Napier, infant Lindsey Perry, and an unnamed brother; and one sister, Ora Faye Perry.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will be follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Hank Webb and Pastor Jack Williams officiating. He will be laid to rest in Hamilton-Mawk Cemetery in Vanceburg, Kentucky on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice.
