Dennis L. Moriarty, 61, of Mansfield died early Sunday morning, November 17, 2002 at MedCentral Mansfield after an extended illness. Mr. Moriarty was born December 27, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio living in the Mansfield area the past 6 years after residing in Cleveland most of his life. He was retired from United Van Lines. He loved fishing and especially spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth A. Bihn Moriarty; three sons and a daughter-in-law, David Moriarty of Seattle, Washington, Sean & Fatima Moriarty of Hudson, Ohio and William Moriarty of Mansfield; three daughters and a son-in-law, Jill Calderon of Oceanside, California, Kari & Finley Surgener of Shelby, Ohio and Colleen Moriarty of Columbus, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Cassandra, Aaron, Haley, Spencer, Kyle, Alexis, Christina, Joshua and Jacob; a sister, Barbara A. Dailey of Cleveland; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, William John & Ruth Flory Moriarty; and a brother, Edward.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, west of Mansfield, Thursday from 2-5 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by Father Herb Weber. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
