Danny Joe Baker, 60, passed away May 29, 2024. He was born February 9, 1964 in Shelby, Ohio. He was the baby boy, one of nine children to Winford Ray and Orlean Wilson Baker.

Danny had a great sense of humor and loved to play jokes. He loved the outdoors, fishing, mushroom hunting and NASCAR. He was very kind and enjoyed watching Disney movies with his granddaughters who he referred to as “Papaw’s girls”. Danny was a Dallas Cowboys fan.

Family was Danny’s life. He was always doing stuff with his family. He was with his wife, Emily for 45 years. They were married for 28 years. He worked for Milark Inc as a press operator and die setter for 24 years.

Danny is survived by his wife, Emily Baker; son, Joshua Daniel (Rochelle Jones) Baker; daughter, Kendal Nicole (LJ Parker) Baker; four grandchildren, Liliana Renee Baker, Sophia Lynn Parker, Dominick Carmel, and Michael Carmel; sibling, Philip (Cassie) Baker, Roger Baker, James (Michelle) Baker, Beverly (JR) Longworth, Rickey Baker, and Sandy (Bobby) Wingler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mike Baker; sister, Rita Deal; nephew, Danny Jones Jr., and his bulldog, Brutus.

Friends and family may gather for a Celebration of Life on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Hanna Road Church, 536 Hanna Road, Mansfield, Ohio. Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services is honored to serve the Baker family.
