Born January 3, 2010 he was the son of William and Jenica (Bridges) Keim. A joyful mischievous little boy, Dalton was always exploring and climbing. He loved reading books especially about animals and puppies and playing with daddy’s phone. Dalton also loved to sing especially in his mommy’s car with his favorite song being “Row, Row, Row Your Boat”.
Dalton is survived by his parents, William and Jenica Keim of Mansfield; his big brother, Malachi Keim; his maternal grandparents, Garry and Debbie Bridges of Mansfield; his paternal grandparents, John and Laura Keim of Pennsylvania; his maternal great grandparents, Dave and Wanda Bridges of Mansfield; his paternal great grandfather, Arthur Dotterer of Mansfield; his paternal step great grandmother, Agnes Yoder of Ashland; nine uncles, Todd Bridges of Mansfield, Joe (Esther) Keim of Ashland, Ervin (Katherine) Keim of Pennsylvania, Enos (Emma) Keim of Ashland, Marvin (Mattie) Keim of Gallipolis, OH, Johnny (Miriam) Keim of Ashland, David (Lydianne) Keim of Newcomerstown, OH, Perry (Mary Ann) Keim of Ashland and Leroy (Melinda) Keim of Johnsville; four aunts, Rosa (Milo) Yoder of Shiloh, Saloma (Aden) Yoder of Johnsville, Ada (Emmanuel) Miller of Newcomerstown and Ella (Johnny) Mast of Johnsville; a host of close cousins and other relatives; and his stuffed dog, Puppy. He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandfathers, William (Laura) Keim and Harley (Barbara) Yoder; his maternal great grandmother, Alice Dotterer; and an uncle, Harley Keim.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Bethel Baptist Church conducted by Pastor John Bouquet. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Thursday.
In Dalton’s honor, memorial contributions may be made in care of the family to be directed to two different charities dear to their hearts.
