Cindy Ann Mitchell, 57, of Shelby, passed away after a hard fought battle with cancer on Thursday afternoon, October 19, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born August 11, 1960, in Willard, Ohio.
Cindy was employed at TE Connectivity and a certified CNC machinist and was a very hardworking woman. Always keeping herself busy, she enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband, Jeff, and being outside in the sunshine with her dogs.
Family was her first priority and Cindy relished the time spent with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and was very artistic and creative. Listening to music and tending to her koi pond were some of her favorite relaxing moments. Cindy was an animal lover and would spend time watching the playfulness of many varieties of animals.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Mitchell; four children, Tina (Steve) Bourne of Shiloh, Tammy Edwards (Jamal Lindsay) of Greenwich, Tony Mitchell of Shelby and Tiffany (Jerry Jr.) Thomas of Ashland; fifteen grandchildren, Sherrie, Alexis, Steven Jr., Shellie, Alex, Scott, Cynthia, Tatianna, Adam, Sara, Candace, Charles, Arianna, Carter and Catrina; four siblings, Claudette (Tim) Cornell of Mansfield, Cherie (Wayne) Tompkins of Amelia, OH, Chuck (Tammy) Warner of Mansfield and Cheryl Warner of Shelby; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mary "Jackie" Warner.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service conducted by Pastor Steve Oswalt will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. She will be laid to rest in Shenandoah Cemetery.
