Carolyn Sue (Lykins) Patton, 57, passed away unexpectedly Friday evening, January 20, 2012 at her home. Born November 11, 1954 in Ironton, Ohio, she is the daughter of John and Florence (Noble) Lykins.
She is survived by her mother, Florence Lykins; two children, Paul L. Patton, Jr. (fiancée, Theresa Morgan) and Steven R. (Cynthia) Patton; grandchildren, Kaitlin R. Patton, Grayson Zack, Steven J. Patton, Kimberly D. Patton, Ethan C. Patton, Ciara A. Hunter and Jhenna M. Hunter; one great-grandchild, Cameron Bunch; two sisters, Connie Lee and Donna Lykins; three brothers, Jerry Lykins, John D. Lykins and James Simmons; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, John Lykins; brother, William Simmons; sister, Judy Steinburgie; and husband by common law, Vernon L. Hedrick.
Friends and family may visit from 2-5 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2012 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. A memorial service will follow at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. Paul Lintern officiating.
