Carol Ann Beer, age 81, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2018 surrounded by her loving husband, Bill, daughter, Beth Bickers, granddaughters, Brittany and Billi, and son, Daniel. She grew up in Mansfield, attended Madison High School and married her childhood sweetheart. They just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. She loved her garden, living on the farm, cooking, baking, holiday celebrations, and was a devoted mexican domino train player. She was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church, and Buckeye Iron Will Tractor Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ken McCartney.
The family will receive guests on Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, from 10:00-11:00 am. Pastor Bonnie Peltomaa will officiate the funeral service following at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at Lantz Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Akron Children's Hospital for Brooke Bickers.
