Brian Wayne Merritt Sr., 62, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away on January 17, 2022 at home surrounded by loved ones and one special niece, Tylena Puckett. He was born in Shelby, Ohio on November 5, 1959.
Brian was a man who enjoyed spending time with his family; he loved to tell jokes. He also loved his herbs, gambling and fishing.
Brian is survived by his kids, Shawna Canta, June McCrary, Crystal (Littleton) Lloyd and Brian Merritt Jr.; three brothers, Tyler (Cheryl) Merritt, Dale (Vicky) Merritt and Gary (Amanda) Merritt; sister, Mary Jo (Matt) Grimes; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Joshua Merritt; parents, Tyler Merritt Sr. and Rozella Merritt; and two brothers, Charlie and James Merritt.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Wappner Cremation Center is honored to serve the family.
