Belinda Jo Morgan, 68 years old, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away on July 13, 2024 at OhioHealth, Mansfield. She was born in Mansfield, on October 30, 1955 to the late Martha Marshall and Chester White.
She retired after 30 years at General Motors. Belinda enjoyed building furniture and wood working projects and had also started a community garden at her church. She never met a stranger and loved the Lord. An extraordinary grandmother, she was a giver to everyone and especially loved her dog, Syme.
Belinda is survived by her daughters, Nicole Marshall, Rochsand (Bobby) Watkins, Lathsha Morgan, sons, Anthony White, Quinten Currie, Andrew Cotton, Johnny Morgan, Jr., and Delbert Benje; numerous grandchildren, the oldest granddaughters, Zy-Aeria Moses, Astianna Likely; oldest grandson, Shawn Likely, Jr.; 9 great grandchildren; brother Robert Marshall; and sister, Mary McKinney.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Renzell Morgan, Sr.; her parents, Martha Marshall and Chester White; and her brother, Richard Marshall.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 19, 2024 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at New Beginnings Full Gospel Church, 91 Marion Ave., Mansfield. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM, with Pastor Robin Granger officiating and Pastor Fred Gilbert sharing the eulogy. A repass will follow at 3:00 PM at the Life Celebration Reception Center, 129 S. Main St., Mansfield. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Cemetery.
