Barb was born on August 9, 1946 in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was the daughter of Mose Cooper and Evelyn Murnahan. Barb was an LPN and worked in different nursing homes around the Mansfield area. A woman of faith, Barb prayed often. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished making memories with her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She taught her children to cook when they were very young. Barb loved to cook and always said, "A meal always tastes better when cooked by someone else." Barb took pride in her Cherokee heritage and enjoyed attending the Pow Wows in Loudonville. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and loved the special outings that she went on and the friends she made there. Barb loved being fancy. She took the opportunity often to dress up in her heels and would wear her favorite color purple. She was an avid Ohio State fan and could be heard yelling and cheering each time they scored. Barb had a love for diet pepsi, and could be found carrying one with her most times.
Barb leaves behind her sons, Glenn "Pete" Mullins Jr., Brian (Stefanie) Crisp, and Phillip Crisp; her daughters, Kay Pope, Carla (Steven) Wilkinson, and Georgie (John Cress) Crisp; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Paul (Carolyn) Cooper, and Alice Mollette.
