Thomas Patrick O'Donnell

Thomas Patrick O'Donnell, age 85, of Manchester, New Jersey passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024. He was the oldest of five children of Catherine and Patrick O’Donnell, born in raised in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan, New York. Thomas is an Army Veteran who served from 1958-1964, most of which was spent stationed in Germany. Thomas married Suzanne Brown in 1966, and they moved to Staten Island, NY where they raised their family. After being on the road as a salesperson for NAPA, Thomas owned and operated Staten Island Auto Parts for 30 years. Thomas and Suzanne retired and moved to the Renaissance in Manchester, NJ where he enjoyed playing Bocce and Pinochle. He was an avid history buff who was passionate about politics and care for veterans. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Thomas was predeceased by his beloved wife of 57 years, Suzanne. He is survived by his loving children; his son Thomas P. O'Donnell, Jr. and his wife Claudia, and daughters, Katherine O'Donnell, Patricia O'Donnell, Maureen Epstein and her husband Austin; his cherished grandchildren, Michael O'Donnell, Brodie Epstein, Grace Epstein, and Nolan Epstein. He is predeceased by his brother Kevin O’Donnell, and survived by his brothers, James O'Donnell and Patrick O'Donnell and his sister, Maureen Holahan.

A visitation for family and friends of Thomas will be held Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 PM, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. A mass of Christian burial will occur Monday, October 14, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. John's Catholic Church, 619 Chestnut St, Lakehurst, NJ 08733. Interment to follow from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Saint Mary of the Lake Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Dr, Lakewood, NJ 08701.
